Our Sentinel engine cross-checks three independent estimates — FFT, peak-detection and autocorrelation — and only trusts a reading when they agree. A finger scan locks camera exposure outright; a face scan takes a lighter touch (locking white balance instead) to avoid black-frame issues on some Android hardware. Quantum Khor is a wellness tool — not a medical device.
No. Quantum Khor works with your phone camera alone. If you already own a wearable, you can connect it for continuous background data — but it stays optional.

Every city has an activation threshold (default: 10 active members). When your city reaches it, you become a Pioneer and unlock city battles. Individual scores stay private — only aggregated city averages are shown.
Scans, sleep tracking and the core widgets work offline. Gabriel, food search and weather context need a connection.
