QUANTUM KHOR

Resting Heart Rate Calculator

Enter your resting pulse and see where it falls against typical population bands — measured with a fingertip, a watch, or KHOR's own camera scan.

Athletic

Below 55 — Common in well-trained endurance athletes and some healthy adults.

Typical

55 – 75 — Where most healthy resting adults land.

Elevated

76 – 90 — Often stress, poor sleep, heat, caffeine or alcohol — not automatically a problem.

High

Above 90 — Persistently above 90 bpm at rest on quiet days is worth a conversation with a doctor.

What is a normal resting heart rate?

Most healthy adults sit between 55 and 75 bpm at rest. Below 55 is common for well-trained endurance athletes; above 90 on quiet days is worth discussing with a doctor.

What makes resting heart rate go up temporarily?

Stress, poor or short sleep, heat, dehydration, caffeine, alcohol, illness, or having just been active (standing up alone can add 10-20 bpm) can all raise it for a while without meaning anything is wrong.

How should I measure it?

Sit still and calm for a few minutes first, ideally in the morning before coffee. A chest strap or ECG is most accurate; a phone camera scan (remote photoplethysmography) is a close, contactless alternative for a resting reading.
